Foam Models

During the initial phases of the design process it can be advantageous to get your design concepts off of the computer screen and into the hands of your designers. Our foam models are an excellent way to evaluate multiple design concepts prior to the finalization of your CAD database. These models can be easily sanded and modified if additional fine-tuning is needed to perfect the design.

We can start with either a hand sketch or a CAD database and work with you to create foam models that best fit your needs. We use medium density polyurethane foam that machines quickly and allows for accurate reproduction of surfaces, edges, and fine details. Multiple paint colors, moving parts and modularity are among the many options we can incorporate into your foam models.
